About Rachel
Rachel Flynn is a fine art equine and pet photographer based in Neerim South, West Gippsland, Victoria and her work is anything but ordinary. With a lifelong love of horses and dogs, Rachel combines genuine animal understanding with a creative eye for fine art imagery, transforming fleeting moments into timeless, heirloom-quality artwork.
As a horse breeder and trainer of her beloved Gypsy Cobs, Rachel brings something most photographers simply can’t – a deep, intuitive understanding of horses and the unique bond between horse and owner. That same empathy and patience extends to every dog and pet she photographs, creating a calm, unhurried experience where animals can simply be themselves.
Based at the foothills of Mount Baw Baw in West Gippsland, Rachel offers on-farm indoor and outdoor studio sessions as well as on-location photography across some of Victoria’s most breathtaking settings – from golden paddocks and coastal beaches to lush bushland. As an experienced rider herself, she has access to a collection of stunning locations that bring each session to life in a way that feels natural, authentic and deeply personal.
Rachel travels Australia-wide and internationally, offering a truly personalised experience for horse and dog owners who want something more than a photograph – they want art that honours the life, love and legacy of the animals they cherish most.
